For over a decade they have been taking architecturally significant buildings and turning them into temporary theatres and skilfully blending architecture, comedy and music.

Paterson House by Enrico Taglietti.
Set in the bushland suburb of Aranda, north-west of the centre of Canberra in Australia sits the Paterson House, an apparent fortress-like house that revels in its historical and environmental contexts. It was designed by Enrico Taglietti, a notable Australian architect and is a wonderful example of the Late Twentieth-Century Organic style of architecture characterised by its free asymmetrical massing and natural setting. The significance of this house extends to the association with the client, one of Australia’s leading geophysicists Professor Mervyn Paterson and Mrs Katalin Paterson. The house was designed in 1968 and construction completed in 1970.
The house sits at the end of a cul-de-sac, surrounded by native plantings with the rear open to a natural bushland reserve. It has an imposing battered brick front providing a high degree of privacy for the client, horizontal roof planes and yet maintains a warm inviting tone once inside through the use of stepped and interlocking geometric forms.
